We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tax Manager/Senior to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in tax return review and staff management. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a keen interest in advancing to a Senior Management or Partner level.
Key Responsibilities:
Review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies and planning opportunities.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
Participate in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base.
Prepare and present reports on tax-related matters to senior management.
Qualifications:
CPA or EA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax return preparation and review.
Proven experience in managing and mentoring staff.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in ProSeries tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
