The eggs are laid in water and require it to hatch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go outside and take a look around. Just walk around your outside area quickly. See if you see any of the following:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wells, birdbaths, ponds, water fountains, green pools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pot plants, flower trays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dripping taps, drains, under the A\/C unit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undrained soil, compost piles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mold on walls (especially true for tiger mosquitoes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consider Sleeping With A Fan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Going to sleep at night with a fan on, especially in Malta, is very common, but not ideal. It can, however help prevent mosquitoes from plaguing you though.
