    Job Description:<\/b><\/strong>
    \n<\/b><\/strong>We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager to lead and support our accounting team. This pivotal role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a solid accounting background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance across financial operations. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, mentor junior staff\u2014including staff accountants\u2014and collaborate with leadership to drive financial strategy and process improvement.<\/p>\n

    Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including review and approval of financial work prepared by team members.<\/li>\n
    • Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP.<\/li>\n
    • Direct the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.<\/li>\n
    • Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations.<\/li>\n
    • Liaise with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies as needed.<\/li>\n
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate with other departments to support cross-functional financial needs and reporting.<\/li>\n
    • Provide training, support, and performance evaluations for the accounting team.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Minimum of 5\u20137 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.<\/li>\n
      • Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.<\/li>\n
      • Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance standards.<\/li>\n
      • Strong leadership and team development skills.<\/li>\n
      • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n
      • Effective written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
